TikTok trend finder
Search 640 TikToks and Instagram Reels from the last 21 days by keyword, hashtag, sound or creator. Results are ranked by views per day, so a video that took off yesterday beats an older one with more total views.

Breakouts: small accounts out-running their follower count
TikToks gaining more views per day than the account has followers — the idea is spreading, not the creator’s fame.

How the trend finder works
The finder covers 15 niche windows — Beauty Reels (146 videos), Beauty TikTok (102 videos), Fitness Reels (45 videos), Travel Reels (45 videos), Tech Reels (45 videos), Food Reels (44 videos), Home Reels (44 videos), Money Reels (43 videos), Pets Reels (31 videos), Money TikTok (22 videos), Travel TikTok (20 videos), Pets TikTok (19 videos), Fitness TikTok (11 videos), Food TikTok (11 videos) and Tech TikTok (1 videos), plus 11 videos from the last 21 days found in the latest scan of TikTok’s US trending feed. The most-used niche hashtag in the window is #makeuptutorial (47 videos). Search a topic you film, open the top three results, and note what they share in the first two seconds — the hook, the on-screen text, the format. That shared part is the trend; film it in your own voice within a few days.
How to spot a TikTok trend early
Five signals, with the current numbers from our data.
1. Rank by views per day, not total views
Total views reward age. Right now @406bbq’s video has more total views (7.5M, posted 10d ago) but is gaining about 780K a day, while @imedaademi’s (615K views, posted 19h ago) is gaining 785K a day — the newer video is the one moving. Views per day show what is moving now; that is the order the finder uses.
2. Look for views out-running the follower count
When a small account gets more views per day than it has followers, the algorithm is pushing the idea, not the creator’s fame — the idea is what you can borrow. Of 180 TikToks with a known follower count, 45 are gaining more views per day than the account has followers; the strongest is @lynnmarie1319 (14K followers, 646K views/day).
3. The same sound across unrelated creators
Right now 6 named (non-original) sounds appear in videos by different creators in our 640-video sample — for example “Patient Zero — Taylor Swift” (3 videos by 3 creators, 170K views in total). 69% of the videos use original audio, so in these niches the format and the hook spread more than the song. A sound only counts as a trend when several unrelated accounts use it within days.
4. A hashtag showing up in more than one niche
Tags used in 2+ videos in each of two or more niches right now: #asmr (Beauty, Home), #vlog (Travel, Beauty). A tag crossing niches usually means a format, not a topic, is spreading.
5. Freshness
8 of the 24 fastest videos were posted in the last 3 days. Trends on TikTok and Reels usually peak within one to two weeks; if most of the examples you find are older than that, you are late — film your own angle instead of the same video.
